Open Source Geospatial Training
This is the online Training Site for North River Geographic Systems. NRGS works with FOSS4G (Free and Open Source Software for Geoinformatics) to provide organizations with data, anlysis, and answers to questions centered around where. We’ve been training groups in the use of QGIS for over 12 years. This website will give us the chance to branch out into other softwares and methodologies. Every person gets access to the class and a certificate at the end.

Introduction to QGIS - Exploring QGIS
New to QGIS? QGIS is a Free and Open Source GIS Desktop that is able to convert, analyze, and create data as well as very nice Maps. It runs on every mainstream operating system and has an large user community. Shapefiles? ESRI File Geodatabases? Geopackage? DXF? QGIS can open and work with them all. This class gives the new user a very good overview of QGIS and hopefully what can be accomplished with it. There are 8 chapters overall ranging from an introduction to QGIS, overview of the processing tools, and data formats. The class also comes with data (a download) and some very simple quizzes throughout. Class is priced at $90 dollars (US Currency) and money goes to supporting the software AND maintaining the class. This class covers QGIS 3.44.x.
QGIS - Tips and Tricks
This former conference workshop covers a wide variety of topics in QGIS that you may or may not know about. It’s a fun way to kill a few hours or for just basic skill enhancement with QGIS. With new features at each QGIS release this class should get a bit larger every year. Current Topics include the locator bar, virtual layers, user profiles, and processing tools. Participants must have some knowledge of QGIS and access to the software. The best part – this class is free. So if you have an existing account just login and take it. If not – Sign up for an account.

Added Another class: QGIS Tips and Tricks
The good news - It's free - and will updated periodically. About 2.5 years ago I did a workshop at FOSS4GNA 2023 in Baltimore and it was "QGIS Tips and Tricks". It was a pile of small things that QGIS does that possibly no one knows about. I covered a lot of things...
